I’m not a big fan of some of PETA’s tactics, but even I have to admit that this one is good and adorable.

Oh God this is so wrong on so many levels (but I can’t stop laughing)
I read the other day that PETA took down this , and to that I say – yay. I don’t like PETA and I don’t like their tactics. When there are no more starving or abused children I’ll start worrying about animals.

I think that’s a false argument. It’s like saying, “Who cares if we fix the budget deficit until they deal with global warming, because there’s no country if the planet goes.” Focusing on one problem doesn’t mean it has to happen to the exclusion of all other problems.
No more starving or abused children? That’s never going to happen, and humankind should not abuse animals, and there’s simply no argument in favor of it. We’re just lazy; or we don’t care. I may not agree with every cause PETA champions, but I do agree with quite a few of them, and they are one of the only ones fighting on behalf of living creatures who can’t speak for themselves.
This is an awesome ad. Young people are the biggest perpetrators of leaving their pets unfixed or neutered. This ad would definitely capture their attention, even if it is at the expense of Tiger.
