Farrelly Brothers photos with Chris Cooper, Luis Tiant and Larry David for Lost Son of Havana

The Farrelly brothers, perhaps most respected for their wildly hilarious comedy There’s Something About Mary, also involve themselves in more dramatic fare.  Former Major League Baseball pitcher Luis Tiant returned to Cuba after 46 years of exile, and the Farrellys produced a documentary directed by Jonathan Hock about the experience, called The Lost Son of Havana. ESPN has acquired the TV rights to this 2009 Tribeca Film Festival entry.  The stars came out for its premiere, including Larry David, Chris Cooper, Matt Dillon (photo provided in this earlier post), the Farrellys and Tiant himself.

I missed the viewing of your film, Lost Son of Havana, when it was shown at the Coolidge Corner Theater in the spring.
I wondered if it is going to be released to the general public any time soon or whether it will be shown in smaller theaters that have independent films, like Coolidge Corner, West Newton Cinema, Kendal Square Cinema, Embassy Suite in Waltham, etc.
I am a baseball aficionado, who continues to wait on the sideline.
