Ely Rosenstock at Crastinate, who is going on the upcoming photography expedition of Israel, wrote about the trip:
We will be taken around the country to areas that, from my understanding, are not typically visited by traditional media. We are under no pressure to do anything for this generous trip but I believe the consulate is hoping that us bloggers report our findings of what life in Israel is like.
Ely also did some sleuthing and found out the names of the other attendees, which include Loren Feldman, Barry Schwartz, Tamar Weinberg and Brian Weinberg.

I really look forward to reading about this trip you are going on. Instead of always having huge media entities steering a reader in the direction of hostility and war. I think that it will be an excellent change in getting to know Israel from an individuals point of view. A sense of normalcy without political motivations, I hope.

I hope I do a good job of showing the other side of Israel. Thanks Bobby.
